About Our School
Montessori School of Casper offers a preschool through kindergarten program. The school is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit corporation and is a board run organizatin. Montessori School of Casper is funded entirely by donation and tuition and requires that families volunteer at least 20 hours each school year.
The school was founded as Meadowlark Montessori School in 1975 and offers a quality learning environment for children between the ages of 15 months and six years.
The education provided at the Montessori School of Casper is based on the methods and theories originally developed by Dr. Maria Montessori and her associates. These methods and theories are managed under the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI). The Montessori School of Casper is accredited by the AMI in the United States (AMI-USA).
The term “AMI-USA” has been registered in the United States to identify an authentic Montessori education. To maintain AMI accreditation, the school undergoes a consultation every three years by a certified AMI examiner who reviews all aspects of the program. The school’s most recent accreditation was in 2022.
Montessori School of Casper is also certified through The Department of Family Services and meets state requirements.
