How to Enroll Your Child

Observing in the classroom is the first step to placing your child on the waiting list or registering your child in the Montessori program. We recommend your observation be done at least one year prior to enrollment in the fall. If you are interested in Montessori, please call the school at 307-265-0249 or e-mail us at info@montessoriofcasper.com to set up your observation.

Following your observation, if you would like to place your child on our waiting list, you will need to complete an Enrollment Application. Any child, from birth to three years old, can be placed on the waiting list.

The next step is to attend a Prospective Parents’ Night, where you will learn more about Montessori education and our school. You will get a closer look at the classroom, and you can ask any questions you have about our program. Once you have done this, you can pay the registration fee of $75 to secure your place on the waitlist. Then, it is time for you to bring your child to a group session with other prospective students. They will get the opportunity to meet other children their age and see the school to become comfortable with the building. The guides at our school will observe the children for readiness, interests, and personalities, just to get an idea of who your child is.

After the child group sessions, families will be sent contracts if we are certain that we have a place for your child in the fall. You will submit your contract along with the First Family Fee and First Semester Supply Fee. The first installment of the next year’s tuition is due by June 30th.
